Pad'ar, a new Taelon combat game, turns out to be very popular. During one of the fights a man from the audience falls ill. Liam suspects that the virtual link which connects the audience with the players might be the responsible for this illness. While he is still searching for the cause, one of the players dies right after a combat - and the autopsy reveals that the defect he died of affects only people older than 60 years ....
