Neither Leni Parker (Da'an) nor Anita La Selva (Zo'or) nor Robert Leeshock (Liam Kincaid) are part of the regular E:FC cast anymore. Instead, the producers present us with a completely new race, the atavi. These aliens have lived on our planet millions of years ago, and now they are back.

And there are good news for fans of season 1: thanks to special guest star Kevin Kilner we are able to see two episodes with a greatly missed character: Commander William Boone!
